Data Center is a globally collaborative network of specific devices used to transfer, accelerate, display, calculate and store data information on the Internet infrastructure. Most of the electronic components in the data center are driven by low DC power supply. Blauberg centrifugal fans are suitable for cooling and cooling in data centers. The emergence of data center has led people's understanding from a quantitative and structural world to an uncertain and unstructured world. It will gradually become a part of modern social infrastructure like transportation and network communication, and then have a positive impact on many industries. Data center is a strategic resource as important as human resources and natural resources. In the data center industry in the information age, only by large-scale and flexible use of data can we better understand and use data, promote the rapid and efficient development of the data center industry, and reflect the great wisdom of human development. The generation of massive data has also led to an important change in the collection and processing of information data. Enterprises have also moved from entity services to data services. The demands and concerns of the industry have also changed. The focus of enterprises have shifted to data. The computer industry has changed from the pursuit of computing power to data processing power. The software industry will also change from programming to data. The dominance of cloud computing will also change from analysis to service.
The primary purpose of a data center is to run applications to handle the data of business and operational organizations. Such systems belong to and are developed within the organization or purchased from enterprise software suppliers. For example, general applications include ERP and CRM systems. Often these applications consist of multiple hosts, each running a single component. Usually this kind of component is database, file server, application server, middleware and all kinds of other things. The data center is also often used for backup of non-work sites to respond to emergencies and rapid recovery after disasters and minimize losses.
The development of data center cooling technology has the following two trends:
1、 The end cooling equipment is close to the server
In the past, the data center machine room generally used room level air conditioning and underfloor air supply. This method has low construction cost and high utilization rate of machine room, and is used to solve the heating of 3~5kw single cabinet. However, with the extensive application of rack and blade servers in the computer room, the number of equipment, power density and heating density in a single cabinet have significantly increased. Traditional machine room level air conditioners can no longer solve the problem of heat dissipation of IT equipment. Row level air conditioners and backplane air conditioners came into being. The end of this new type of air conditioner is closer to the heat source, which can solve the problems of local hot spots and high heating density. Through close cooling capacity transmission, the fan power consumption is reduced and energy saving is achieved. No matter the room level air conditioner, the row level air conditioner or the backplane air conditioner, the air is cooled first, and then the cold air is cooled by heat exchange with the server CPU. Due to the low heat exchange efficiency and heat flow density of air, the air cooling server has the problems of high cooling energy consumption, high noise and low equipment density. In order to solve the problem of heat dissipation of ultra-high power density it equipment, the data center began to adopt the liquid cooling technology, using the working fluid as the medium of intermediate heat transfer, transferring the heat from the heating area to the distance for cooling. The cooling efficiency of liquid cooling technology is significantly higher than that of air cooling, which can effectively solve the heat dissipation problem of high-density servers, reduce the energy consumption and noise of the cooling system.
2、 Pay attention to energy saving of cooling system
As the competition of data center intensifies and the pressure of operating cost increases, the energy-saving research of cooling system is imminent. With the emergence of high temperature resistant servers, more and more data centers gradually try to develop and use free cooling. The utilization of natural cold source mainly includes the following two directions: (1)、Fresh air direct cooling
After the outdoor fresh air is filtered, it is humidified and cooled, and then sent to the air inlet of the rack through the fan wall. The outdoor fresh air is heated by the server and discharged outdoors. This method has high requirements for outdoor air quality. (2), To use deep lake water and river water for cooling.
